So today, we've got a few more recommendations we'd love to share with you! No Time To Die (In cinemas now) It has felt like an eternity waiting for Daniel Craig's latest and final outing as James Bond. The pandemic has delayed this film a number of times but now it's here, was it worth the wait? No Time To Die is one of the better Craig films out there, along with Casino Royale and Skyfall. As it should be, considering this is his last film. There's some great stuff in here, all the best and what you'd expect from a Bond film. Craig puts in a great performance for his swan song which is worth the price of admission alone! Do yourself a favour and book your viewing as soon as you can, this isn't one to miss. Sex Education (Netflix) Now on it's recently released third season, Sex Education has been entertaining audiences for a few years now, being one of Netflix's biggest original shows. A blend of comedy and teen drama, the show focuses on a group of late teens attempting to navigate their way through life with the prospects of sex, relationships and the like changing their lives in a multitude of ways. It's cheesy, but also very heartfelt with some stellar performances and writing that really justifies [...]

Our Most Influential Filmmakers of today

Who are some of our most influential filmmakers of today? We've looked at some our favourites of the past, some of the greats including Ridley Scott and Alfred Hitchcock. Of course, some of these filmmakers are still producing great movies, but there's a new generation of artists crafting such great works that we admire a whole lot. So we thought in this blog we'd look at some of them, so you can get a few new film recommendations from truly great directors. Denis Villeneuve The French-Canadian filmmaker has made some big waves in the last few years. Known for his sci-fi movies, Villeneuve is a very passionate filmmaker who has a great love for the big screen and is devoted to capturing the most beautiful looking settings and telling the most ambitious stories. From Arrival to the much loved sequel to Blade Runner 2049, the upcoming Dune adaptation is his next work that everyone is extremely excited for. Some of his other films include Sicario and Prisoners, two epic thrillers that also deserve your attention. Edgar Wright If you haven't heard Edgar's name before, you'll have most certainly heard of his films. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End, also known as The Cornetto Trilogy are British comedy staples, and Wright has made even bigger impressions in Hollywood with 2017's heist film Baby Driver. His quirky, absurd and hilarious comedy is something to admire, but for every filmmaker it has to be his editing style, one that has so much personality to it. But he's not just a [...]

2D Product Animation: What is it?

2D product animation is a type of video production that is a great way to showcase your business product in a truly unique and creative way. 2D product animation unlike provides a 2D visual representation of your product. This format is less in depth than 3D and is better suited to telling a story about the product itself, how it works or how it might interaction with a person or environment. This provides businesses with an ideal animated sales video tool that is completely custom. A 2D animated product video could also be used to provide an animated product demonstration, showing a concept or how a new product coming to market might work. The reason we're so enticed by a lot of the products we see on TV is because so many companies are looking to have their products shown off in a 2D format. It's something different and impactful as it shows the product in a simple and fun format, and fun will always be a key method of grabbing your audience. So is it worth the opportunity having your product shown in this format? Absolutely. 2D animation can really sell something that may be mundane or hard to market just through the style itself. 2D animation is a complicated method of filmmaking and very time consuming. However the results are worth every minute, which is why it is as prevalent today as it ever has been. Good animations are created by experienced motion graphics designers and 2D [...]

Image Size Guidelines for Social Media

Images are a great way to show off your company with visual flair on social media, but whilst they may be simple in thought to take and upload, many social media posters don’t know or maybe don’t understand how image sizes and dimensions work. Every social media platform is massively different with how they want to show images posted, every single one uses a different set of rules so sometimes it can be hard to determine if the image you have will show in full sometimes. In this guide we’re going to give you a crash course on the best tips to make sure your perfect image is showing in full. Doing this will aid you in avoiding pixilation and bad looking image stretching. You want your images to look professional after all. It also ensures that your audience are seeing the full picture. Incorrect sizing and dimensions might cut off some of your brand’s messaging. Most people scrolling through will only see what dimensions the channel shows them, and their quick scrolling habits will mean they most likely won’t open the full image to see everything. You need to grab them immediately with your full image. It’s also worth knowing all these sizes as it could mean less work for your brand in the future, as sometimes these platforms change up how images display now and again. In terms of audience engagement, your photos need to be optimized for each social channel’s feed as well. So without further [...]
